Suggestion to be viewed upon
It is stated in our religious epics that solution of a problem comes out of its cause by exercising good Karmas for getting positive results. Even the wars were settled on this. For example. Gandhari (mother of Kaurvas) asked Lord Krishna that if he wanted the war could have been stopped. Lord Krishana reply was that the results of the Karmas has to decide the future and establish the destiny of those who are resposible for the act.
With the change of time and improvement of technology, this aspect has been, as it seems, forgotten and we are following the rule of - 'Heads I win and Tails you loose formula'. Today, not even by individuals but in media, politics also.
As of now, more than after 75 years of independence, the term fixed for 5 years for the Governments (both at the Centre and States) to act upon seems to be not effective but counter effective in the sense weakening state of economy, currency, fall in production, inflation, dependence on imports, job scarcity, increasing incoming disparity among Rich and Poor and the like many other are coming up slowly before showing up in ugly face probably in the time to come.
In view of this, my suggestion is that if we reduce the 5 years' term to 3 years for the Govenrments (both at the Centre and State levels) will give better results and improvement in the economy and related issues . This can be doneby exercising constitutional amendments
Moreover, it should be made mandatory that submission of yearly report of the progress made on public promises made during pre-election perod and the progress made on other provisions/allocations made in the Annual budgets shall solve the problem forever.
The effect of this will bring in improvement in economy, production, jobs creation, reduce poverty, stronger currency, control infation, less dependence on imports, reduce disparity among rich and poor. It will make India stronger in the eyes of the world as a great platform for making investments as also a politicall
Ehis is my suggestion which may rectify the prevailing situation to some extent.
