Michel de Nostradame was born on Dec.14, 1503  in a Jewish family and was one of the nine children of a well-to-do grain dealer at Saint- Remy-de-Provence, South of France. His Grand father introduced him to Ancient rights of Jewish tradition and celestial sciences of Astrology, giving him first exposure to the ideas of heavens & how they drive human destiny. He had to face wrath of catholic priests due to his inclination towards Astrological inferences during his young age. Despite all these, he completed his doctorate in Medicine in 1525. In 1538, an off handed remark about a religious statue resulted in charges against him.When ordered to appear before a church inquisition, he left the province & travel for several years through Italy. He met a group of monks later on his tour and identify one from them to be future Pope. The monk became Pope in 1585 as per the predictions of Nostradamus.
