Effects Of Nuclear Experiments On Climate

It is estimated that the total energy released by nuclear explosions in 20th century amounts to 600 Megatons equivalent of energy. Divided over the 510 million square meters of the earth's surface and over the two decades of peak testing, that represents 8 million of watt per square meter of power.
