 A Super Power is a state with dominant position exercised by its extensive ability to exert influence or project power on a global scale. This is done through the means combined of economic, military, technological and cultural strength as also the diplomatic and soft power influence. Russia, France, UK, USA and and China are often referred as great powers due to their Economic and Political dominance of the global arena. These five nations are the only states with veto power on UN Security Council.    Today Indians are hoping like never before that the country is on the verge of a great turnaround.
