 It is believed that life is a cycle of Birth, Death and Rebirth with our actions in this life, our 'Karmas' effecting our future incarnations. The Soul may be reincarnated thousand of times. The end of the cycle is called 'Moksha' which can be reached if one lives the best life which one possibly can. It makes one with the God  that sets him free to be born on this Earth again. Though the body is temporary and eventually dies, Soul is eternal. Afer Death, Soul is reincarcetad, taking birth in another body or form. As the man passes through from Dream to awakeness, so does he passes at death from this life to next life. When the stored-up life (a form of Karma) is running out, just as a charge in the battery is spent, gets fails, so do the physical just as a ripen fruit falls from the tree and starts its process towards another earthly process in a new body.
