Suggestion - Country's growth and Present Environment
During a press briefing on 25th July, 2026, a spokesman of the Secretary General, UN said about the nation-wide students' agitation sparked by the NEET UG exams. paper leaks in India. Also stated that people participating in peaceful student protests be allowed to do so without any fear of harassment, arrest or injury.
At present, the estimated youth strength is 65% (approx) of India's total population. In the light of existing situation - be it Economical, Political, Inflation, Unemployment, Declining currency value, Increasing gap between rich and poor, etc. following suggestions, which I t;hink, without
any favor, prejudice to any indvidual, corporate, group of persons, party, rather simply be more appropriate if implemented may ease in Governance to a large extant -
1. To amend the Constitution of India adopted on 26th November 1949, implemented on 26th
January,1950, the term of Governments both central and state from 5 to 3 years. This
constitution is more than 75 years old needs change in view of the adoption of new technologies
and to compete with the world around.
2.To submit Annual report of the following which should be a mandatory process-
- Report on the action taken on promises made during pre-election period.
- Execution of the funds allocated in the Annual Budgets on projects, both at state
and central levels.
3. Tax reforms - Start GST on sale of property - will stagnate black money generation.
4. Creation of Interest Diferrential fund - Fund can be generated from the lower interest paid on
foreign loans and given to local industry, assuming, at the existing bank rates. This fund can be
used to augment educational institutions in India.
5. Stop giving tax rebates to hospitals/ clinics - Almost all hospitals are being run as a company
with their shares in the stock markets. By doing this exercise, they are concenred more on
making profits instead of taking care of patients. Examples are often being heard from the
public that for a simple sickness, one has to go through the numerous costly tests. Moreover,
most Doctors earn additional income by doing practice in separate institutions/companies/
societies addition to their earnings from hospitals/clinics.
To start with the above suggestions, which if honestly put into operation, I feel confident that
the country will make good progress and more competitive to establish its identity around the world.
I, once again, would like to say that India has the capacity to do so and a lot of such reforms which we will see in the time to come.
P.S/ - I, once again, record in this post, is a suggestion.
