Neuro Balance Therapy for Seniors

As we age, maintaining balance and stability becomes increasingly important for our overall wellbeing. Seniors are particularly vulnerable to slips and falls which can lead to injuries or even death. The DVD of therapy consists of a nerve wake-up technology used to create a Spike ball which awakens the nerve in the foot. The person need to put the feet on the spiked ball each morning. One can start the day with this ten second daily ritual. It can be done by standing about the shoulder-width apart, eyes open and hold steady for 10 seconds slowly working upto 30 seconds..If you find swaying or reaching for the wall or counter frequently, keep on trying this exercise till you can do it minimal support or swaying. Next step is to stand with feet together. Follow the same procedure as explained earlier. 

Then slowly on one foot eyes open, hold steady for 10 seconds.Switch to other foot. The purpose of each exercise is to hold the position for 10 seconds move on to 30 seconds, five repetitions, including five per leg on one foot twice a day.            

  It will improve the balance of the body as also the ability to walk freely without falling. Even the ankle strap makes the muscle more strong by stretching the deep Peroneal nerve. Each day this exercise take a short time to perform. DVD showing of basic movements can be seen while sitting on a chair.
