Silent Govt. vs mismanagement in Hospitals

Silence is no longer an option, it is time for our conscience to wake up It is not enough to say that hospital has failed. It is a crime against humanity. Quite surprising, Govt. keeps on giving Grants and issuing orders for providing free treatment, medicines etc. in Delhi but on the other hand, no control is evident where any modus-operandi is adopted to ensure that such hospitals are following these rules strictly. Left a few cases (where influential personalities are involved) there is no such evidence of implementing rules.

We have seen it all, seeing it more, and still more every moment cries and pains of patients and their relatives scrambling for bed, oxygen, long queues in moratorium waiting to perform last rites. Parients who died in the hospitals. Hospitals never admits their fault in recognising the wrong treatment.

Though there has been a long list of causes of death like Heart disease, Cancer, Covid, Accidents, Low respiratory diseases, brain stroke, diabetes,Alzheimer's disease, a unique case has happened in case of my wife who expired in October 2021 in Fortis Hospital, Okhla, New Delhi. She was admitted for removal of stone in Gal Bladder and was kept in ICU for 35 days where relative is allowed only for 5 minutes.

No time is given for asking the Doctor after seeing the patient in unconcious state as to how she became in that state -Is it due to wrong medication, diagnosis failure, not giving her diet properly and a long list of reasons. After her death, body was sent and we were told to do cremation without any delay as if they know that why it is necessary. The Director of the hospital (who is well awarded by the Govt. for his services) says that due to her age related issues, this has happened. Were they fools since they could not recognize this before taking for surgery?

Where do a common retired man go for finding justice? Complaint filed with Medical Council gets no response. The Doctor is still on the payroll of the hospital, must have killed more patients and earn money for the hospital.

My question is that why a patient who went for removal of stone in gal bladder admitted for 35 days on ICU finally putting her to death/

Is it not shameful for the management of hospital and the Govt. of Delhi who is sleeping over on such accidents - must have happened in other hospitals. What the Govt. is doing to check and stop such innocent deaths.?
