Blog 336 - Activation of Reiki symbols for treatment

It is quite necessary to understand the activation of Reiki symbols which are to be used for giving treatment. By keeping the person to be treated in mind, following are three ways to attune and activate the symbols:-

1. One can activate while doing hands on healing by drawing the symbols with the fingers on self or others. Wait for few seconds for the effect to take place and notice the effect.

2. While doing distance healing, one can draw the symbols in the mind on the image of the person, event, situation, place or goal. Again, wait for few seconds for the effect to take place and treat it towards end to the session.
 
3. While visualising or drawing the symbols with the fingers, name of the symbol be repeated. For people, who are not so visual or how choose not to visualize, just repeating names three times also        activates the symbols.  

As a matter of fact, as one continue to practise Reiki, simply the intention to use a particular symbol activates the symbol and Reiki energy starts working on the purpose of that session. It is not for the beginner which will happen naturally as one matures on this path.    

Reiki is effective for the spot treatment whether it is acute injury or caused by some chronic condition such as temporarily increased levels of localised pain. It is a quick technique to perform spot treatment. The steps hereunder are guidelines to be followed with intuition. 

1. Rub hands together to activate energy flow.
 
2. Place hands over the affected area and send energy by using Cho Ku Rei to incraese the flow of energy. Cho Ku Rei is a power symbol in Reiki healing process. It acts as to strengthen and quicken the healing process. The symbol is of a snake coiled around a staff is recognised as a symbol of healing. The staff belongs to Asklepios, the mythical Greek God of medicine
. 
3. Pay attention to where the energy flows. If adjoining areas draw more energy, hover one or both hands (like a hummingbird) there to calm it.
 
4. Draw Sei He Kei which will act as an antiseptic to enhance the healing.  Seri He Kei translates to God and Man become one or the earth and sky meet. It establishes harmony between concious and subconcious mind by healing mental and emotional imbalances by opening up blockages in mind and releasing traumatic experiences. It is a diagram representing left and right side of the Brain. Left side of the brain represents logical and rational thinking. The right side is emotions and imagination. It brings a balance between right and left side of the brain. It helps in memory improvement, activates and purifies Kundalini energy found at the base of spine.
 
5. Keep sending energy by using the symbols till one senses the area no longer accepts reiki. May try to resume later if needed. It will relieve pain unlike painkillers.
