A politician seeks to avoid responsibility for errors and act to be smart all the time. A leader is one who leads from the front whereas the politician is one who leads from the back.

In democracy, politics need to be open up to the youth and veterans in the domain should promote the younger generation into mainstream politics. Political participation of youth need to be expanded beyond the casting of vote through reservation of youth in political parties  In this context, insipration can be drawn from other countries in Europe and Africa. The right balance of young talent and expeienced politicians in Indian politica can lead to a change can lead to public faith in political system.

Leadership is the activity of influencing people to come to desirable goal. Leadership is a kind of the work done to meet the needs of a social situation. The leader can arouse popular enthuisam in public service. Politicians have the ability to understand others desire, and use that knowledge to influence others with their actions, thoughts etc. It is a skill about building trust with the workers to encsure in whom they have trust and like by building network, personal influence, working ability, apparent sincerity and excellent communication skills.

Both these politician and leader can be judged by watching his aims and actions. If these lead to the victory of the party in next elections, he must be a great politician. If these lead to the empowerment of next generation, he must be a great leader.
