Use of Robots to control virus effects on Medical staff and Patients

As the Corona Virus pandemic has spread all over the world, medical staff is playing the crucial role as a warrior fighting against the outbreak. They are most at risk due to absence of Personal Protection Equipment. However, in order to save life of these soldiers, many countries are opting for Robots to help medical staff communicate freely with Covid -19 patients without coming in close contact with them. Though Social distancing has emerged as one of the most effective strategies for slowing the spread of Corona virus. It is also bringing many jobs to a standstill and severely restricting our daily lives.

Using a Robot equipped with a Camera, Microphone and Stethoscope the Patient has been able to consult with clinicians without coming into direct contact with them. One Robot is able to carry out the delivery tasks of three people making the entire drug delivery process faster and reducing the risk of clinical staff contracting 2019-N COV and spreading it. Robots are loaded up with medicines and given instructions of where to go in the hospital and then return to their destination.It can also be deployed for multiple food delivery,  As well helping to minimize the potential spread of infection, they are being used for Disinfection purposes. Autonomous Robots, for instance, can roam rooms disinfecting the surface with UV lights. 

 Xenex Robots, manufactured in San Antonio, use pulsed xenon Ultra violet -C (UVC) light to wipe out pathogens. Their robot can clan clean the room in about five minutes in the hospital.
Many Robotics manufacturing companies joined the cause and presented their technologies for better services to Patients and Doctors as well. Of these, a few are -

2) Xenex - a US based company
3) Robotemi - Israel made AI  powered robot.

Robots are flashy and advanced and if they can help contribute stopping a Global outbreak of a serious disease then their contribution should be welcomed.

IMF suggestions for India Growth Rate

India's growth accelerated to 7.7.% in 4th quarter of 2017-18 (F.Y.) which was up from 7% in the previous quarter.
