Preventing Fall For Adults

You probably know that older adults are more likely to fall than younger adults. But preventing
falls reveals reveals crucial information you may not know, for example, Depression, some Blood Pressure, Medications, certain antihistamines or even a Vitamin D deficiency can raise risk to falls.

The risk factor most likely to predict a future fall is a previous fall. Chances are you don't remember you've fallen unless you are injured. Falls are the most common cause of traumatic, Brian injuries in older adults and they also cause
several injuries e.g. fractures of the Hip, that can have extremely negative impact on quality of life.
Reduced physical activity can lead to a vicious cycle in which a older person's physical deteriorates
increasing risk of falling even more and further curtailing the victims's independence and quality of life.   

Following are the essential components must for Senior care -
1)  Do muscle Strengthening exercises.
2) Obtain maximum vision correction.
3) Practice using Bifocal and Trifocal glasses.
4) Practice Balance exercise daily with the help of chair slowly repeating its frequency.
5) Consume accurate amount of Calcium and Vitamin D with Doctor's advice.
6) Protect Bone Health with the Doctor's advice.

In order to reduce the force of fall, falling sideways or straight down is more likely to result in Hip fracture than falling in other directions. If possible, try to fall forward or to land on your buttocks.
Use hands or object around to break a fall. Wear protective clothing for padding.
