Lesson from 2018 for Indian Economy

It is well said that those who study the past can understand future. Knowing and willingness is not enough rather than be carried out to reach, felt and explained by the effected. Keeping promises
made in a box and implemented on selective basis gives a sign of weak governance.
The closing of the year 2018 is around the corner. What we see in the year being passed of public welfare is that  after the Budget was presented in Jan/Feb this year, regular discussions have started taking place between the Government and the governed at almost all the formats of Public concern about the new schemes launched/ to be launched.
The issues/promises can be categorized in three patterns namely;
1) Schemes which are implemented across the Board.
2) Schemes stated to have been launched but  reach people after rules and regulations are framed.
     thereby causing delay in its implementation and making public not aware of the procedures
     to be followed.
3)  Schemes promised and kept status Quo.
It is pertinent to mention that the discussions of public welfare utilities carried out in different platforms e.g. media,TV, etc. mostly takes a turnaround and focus shifts to digging out the faults
of each other by the Panelists. The public kept as a spectator to judge as to what they have achieved for which they have voted for. The panelists should discuss on the achievements made by them to make public aware of. A shift in the process, as mentioned, is the need of hour.

As far as the issue of providing jobs,Govt. should revise its industrial policy to give preference to export oriented industries. It may be noted that most of the countries affected after World War II worked out on the concept that out of every Ten dollars earned by industry three dollars should be from exports. Also if implemented, rule can also be made that out of every 100 employees recruited, 30 should be involved in export of the product of the industry. This will not only provide jobs for the youth but solve the foreign exchange rates variations and better reserves to a large extent.

As far as the issue of  providing better health facilities, Govt. should provide better and conducive career climate for Doctors and Para medicos to prevent them from search for foreign jobs after getting qualified. This will not only stop Brain drain flows out of country but reduce the scarcity
of Doctors in Urban and Rural India.
These are some of the main issues which, if sorted out in time shall be of a great push for boost to  Indian economy since the better way to predict the future is to create it, more so by early 2019 and
to complete the promises made to the People.
