Osteopathy - Manage Pain and Body balancing

I consider that Osteopathy is a sacred science because it is a healing power through all nature. It is the heart of the recognition of body's ability to cure itself with some external help of many pathologic (indicative of or caused by disease) conditions. It discover that we have health when all parts of our body are in line and if not, effect is disease.

LOWER BACK PAIN

Osteopathic Manipulative treatment is a safe, effective treatment of, among others, lower back pain. It is a very common which can result from strain (injury) to muscles or tendons ( a strong flexible tissue which connects muscles to bones0. Other reasons may be due to structural problems, disk injuries, arthiritis. Pain may be sharp. dull and achy and may radiate to the bottom or down the back of legs. It is often worse in certain positions like bending over and bets better when lie down.

The best exercise to release lower back pain is -

Laying on your back, gently pull your knees to your chest, hold for a second or so, release, repeating the movement for about 20 seconds a time for about 5 times a day and this sequence all through three times a day.

Those having chronic lower back pain can benefit from doing Yoga and walking whee they can do both throughout the week. Start and build on it for at least 30 minutes a day. As with all treatments, people with persistenlty long duration of pain may feel the change after 2-3 dates of doing such exercises.

BODY BALANCING

The sense of balance relies on series of signals to brain from several organs mainly fron eyes, ears, muscles and touch sensors of legs. Maintaining balance involves a complex system using vision, body awareness and the vestibular system (inner ear) all working together to maintain equilibrium. Within the vestibular system, are structures known as semi circular canals (containing three fluid filled ducts) which forms loops arranged approx. at the right angles to one another. They indicate the brain when head rotates. While moving, the vestibular system detects mechnical forces including gravity that stimulate the semicircle canals and the organs which works with their sensory systems to control the position of body at rest or in motion.

When these signals from any of the sensory system malfunction, one can have problem with the sense of balance including dizziness, vertigo. Any additional problem like weakness, slowness, tremor or rigidity, one can lose ability to recover thereby raising the risk of falling and injury. Diagnosis of balance disorder is difficult.

The best exercise for an individual is what they enjoy, preference should come first.  It is important that the body enjoys the activity you choose. There are several ways to improve balance. - Focus on posture, Strengthening core muscles, Single leg exercises, Mindful movements, Tai chi, yoga, Climbing stairs, Hydration, Footwear selection, vision checkups.

Investing in regular Osteopathic sessions is a commitment to your own health. Individuals can take a proactive approach by involving themelves into a regular healthcare routine. This will not only help in management of existing conditions in addition will also prevent the future problems leading to a pathway to an active and balanced life.
